Kapok is an exceptional natural fiber, consisting of 80% hollow space. The many small cavities make the material extremely breathable and thus temperature-regulating for your child to sleep on. Kapok allows both heat and sweat to be transported away from the sleeping child. At the same time, kapok contains a natural bitter substance where dust mites, mold, and bacteria cannot grow and survive. Therefore, our kapok baby nest is allergy-friendly for your child to sleep in.

The kapok baby nest feels firm and retains its shape when the child lies in it. It has a quilted bottom mattress, which creates an ergonomic, insulating base for your child's sleep.

We have created a safe and secure baby nest that meets the recommendations in the field. This means, among other things, that our kapok baby nest does not have a deep gap between the bolster at the edge and the mattress the child lies on. This ensures that the child's face cannot get trapped in the gap. We have created a baby nest for your child that does not contain harmful chemicals. It is made 100% from nature's own materials. The outer cover consists of 100% organic, GOTS certified cotton in a truly lovely quality. The filling inside both the mattress and the edges of the baby nest consists of our pure, organic kapok.

We have quilted the mattress to create the best comfort for your sleeping child. Also, to create a base for the child that insulates against cold from below. BABY NEST IN BEAUTIFUL COLORS

You will find our kapok baby nest in 2 beautiful, subdued colors that fit well into any home. The light, soft beige baby nest is in the cotton's own natural color and may therefore appear with some speckles in the fabric from the organic cotton we use. We believe this is just a lovely detail in our baby nest and shows that the materials actually come from nature and are not artificially dyed.

Additionally, we also have our beautiful dusted brown baby nest. The gray/brown baby nest consists of exactly the same lovely fabric as the light one, but the fabric has been gently dyed in a natural, GOTS approved color before it was sewn together into a baby nest.

On this page, you will also find our practical cover for the baby nest. We recommend using it as it greatly eases the cleaning and washing of the baby nest. Our baby nest cover is sewn like a small fitted sheet that wraps around the nest and protects it from accidents from your child. If needed, you can also place our breathable mattress protector under the cover on the baby nest to create a waterproof barrier between the child and the nest. This can be particularly practical for children who spit up a lot or have many diaper accidents during a period.
