It's easy and simple to wash Cocoon's mattress protector. However, we recommend that you only wash your protector if necessary, to protect the environment. The mattress protector is 100% Oeko-Tex certified, meaning it does not contain residues of harmful chemicals that need to be washed away before use.

We recommend washing the protector at 40 degrees, or a maximum of 60 degrees in case of accidents. Preferably choose a wash program for heavy laundry, as the protector can become heavy when washed, and therefore some washing machines may have difficulty spinning the protector. If the water has not been spun out successfully in the first spin, we recommend an extra spin. Note that the protector can shrink up to 8-10%.

The mattress protector should be air-dried and must not be tumble dried.

We recommend washing the protector at 40 degrees, or a maximum of 60 degrees in case of accidents. Choose a wash program for heavy laundry, as the protector can become heavy when washed, and some washing machines may struggle to spin it. If the water hasn't been spun out during the first spin cycle, we recommend an extra spin. Note that the protector can shrink by up to 8-10%.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

The fitted sheet is durable and can be washed at 60 degrees. Since we have not used chemicals or synthetic fibers in the production of our sheet, we recommend that you use a gentle and chemical-free detergent for your sheet. This way, you ensure that your sheet remains 100% organic. You can, for example, use our soapberries, which are a 100% natural detergent.
