The filling is securely enclosed in an inner bag made of organic cotton jersey. The inner cotton bag is encased in a removable outer cover made of thick GOTS certified organic cotton. A practical zipper on the side of the outer cover allows you to remove the cover for washing. A zipper in the inner bag provides easy access to the filling, making it easy to adjust the filling to suit your preferred volume, firmness, and sleep preference.

IT'S WHAT'S INSIDE THAT COUNTS

The natural latex pillow is made exclusively with three natural and organic materials and is not treated with or added any chemicals, either during or after production. You can therefore feel safe knowing that your pillow does not emit any off-gassing substances or chemicals during your sleep.

GOLS CERTIFIED 100% NATURAL LATEX
The central ingredient in our natural latex pillow is the 100% organic natural latex. Natural latex is known for its soft and comfortable body support as well as superior breathability. 100% natural latex is also naturally resistant to bacteria, mold, mildew, dust mites, and other allergens, and is naturally hypoallergenic. However, natural latex is not just natural latex. Often, natural latex is mixed with synthetic latex or filling materials to create a cheaper mattress. Therefore, it has been incredibly important for us to create a natural latex that is certified organic. Our natural latex is therefore GOLS certified, which guarantees that the natural latex is free from artificial and harmful additives, and that the natural latex comes from organic latex plantations, where it has been cultivated without the use of fertilizers or pesticides. Thus, you can be sure that our natural latex is made of 100% natural rubber and does not contain synthetic latex, chemicals, or filling materials.

ORGANIC & UNTREATED NEW ZEALAND WOOL
The tiny natural latex pieces are then mixed with lovely organic and untreated wool from New Zealand. The merino wool gives the pillow fantastic temperature-regulating properties due to the wool's air-filled fibers. The natural lanolin in the wool simultaneously ensures that excess heat and moisture are carried through the fiber and away from the head. The natural occurrence of lanolin also makes the wool resistant to dust mites and contributes to the pillow's hypoallergenic properties.

GOTS CERTIFIED ORGANIC AND UNTREATED COTTON
The pillow's outer cover is a sturdy unbleached and undyed organic cotton jersey. The outer cover has a zipper and can be removed and washed if necessary. The pillow's filling is, for this reason, hidden in its own thin cover of organic cotton.

BREATHABLE NATURAL LATEX PILLOWS

Breathability in the materials you sleep on is key to a good night's sleep. And the materials in your pillow are no exception. We release a lot of heat through our heads, so heat and sweat must be able to escape from your pillow. Otherwise, you'll find yourself waking up at night with a wet pillow, which you'll repeatedly have to turn and flip to find a dry spot to sleep on.

Natural latex is unlike memory foam and synthetic latex a more temperature-regulating material. It stays cooler throughout the night and helps you maintain a stable body temperature, so you don't wake up on a damp pillow.

Our natural latex comes from organic rubber plantations, where liquid rubber is tapped from the trees. The rubber mass is poured into molds and baked at high temperatures. We add nothing else no synthetic latex or other fillers, and our natural latex is thus completely pure. Therefore, it was also important for us to have our product GOLS-certified. It is your guarantee for a pure natural latex product without synthetic additives that emit harmful fumes while you sleep.

Our natural latex pillows consist of many loose strips of the fantastic natural latex, mixed with organic wool, to achieve even better breathability and airiness in our natural latex pillows.

When our natural latex is so pure and untreated, it also means it is naturally resistant to bacteria, mold, mildew, dust mites, and other allergens. ERGONOMIC PILLOW

When choosing your new pillow, you should consider that it needs to support your head and neck for many hours while you sleep, so you don't lie in an awkward position and wake up with neck pain. A latex pillow is firmer than a pillow made of, for example, down or fiber. It provides more stable support for your head and neck when you sleep on it. The pillow yields where your body contours leave pressure against it. It molds precisely to your neck and shoulders but will return to its original shape when you lift your head from the pillow.

A pillow with our natural latex filling will therefore last for many years. It will not collapse and become flat in the filling, as many other pillows do over time. You are probably most familiar with the feel of this type of pillow from memory foam pillows. The difference is "just" that ours is 100% natural and does not contain the harmful chemicals found in memory foam.

 

PILLOW FOR NECK PAIN

If you often suffer from neck pain and headaches, it's important to choose a pillow that supports you correctly while you sleep. 

Our natural latex pillow is excellent for those with neck and shoulder pain. It supports you when you rest your head on it and adapts to your back and neck. Imagine that your pillow should ensure a straight line through your spine and neck when you sleep on your side. Your head should neither sink too low nor be so high that a kink occurs in your neck. Therefore, choose a high-quality pillow that helps your shoulders lie free of the pillow when you sleep on your side, creating support in the gap between your cheek and shoulder.

 

ADJUSTABLE PILLOW

All bodies are different, and we need different heights and firmness in our pillows to lie comfortably. That's why we've designed our natural latex pillows so cleverly that you can adjust the amount of filling in the pillow to precisely fit your body and preferred sleeping position. So whether you want a high and firm pillow or a flat and soft pillow, you can achieve this by choosing our organic natural latex pillows.

Inside the pillow, you'll find a thin cotton cover that holds the filling material. A zipper is sewn into the cover, so you can easily remove and add extra filling. We recommend that you save the filling you take out, in case you want a little extra fill in the pillow again. Experiment and feel how much filling is needed for you to lie optimally with the pillow. We have, of course, ensured to fill the pillow really well when you receive it, so there is something to adjust with.

Our natural latex pillows are suitable for all sleeping positions. You simply adjust the amount of filling to your preferred sleeping position, whether you sleep on your stomach, back, or side.

 

HOW TO WASH A NATURAL LATEX PILLOW?

Most pillows require a bit of care when you want to wash them. That's why we've made washing our natural latex pillows extra easy for you. The outer cover of the pillow can easily be removed and washed. You do not need to wash the inner pillow containing the filling material. We recommend that you occasionally take the inner pillow outside and shake it thoroughly. Hang it up and air it out for a few hours outdoors until the outer cover is dry again.

You can wash the outer cover of the pillow at 60 degrees, but we generally recommend washing at lower temperatures to protect the environment.
