WHAT IS KAPOK?

Kapok is an organic fiber derived from the kapok tree, which grows wild in some of the world's densest tropical rainforests. The lightness of the kapok fiber makes the kapok pillow excellent for regulating heat. The fiber does not absorb sweat from the body, preventing a damp pillow. Instead, the kapok fiber transports moisture away from the pillow and the body. Therefore, you will find that a kapok baby pillow remains dry and comfortable throughout the night.

Since the kapok fiber does not absorb moisture from the body, dust mites cannot live in the duvet. Dust mites require a moist environment to survive.
