Washing the Mattress Protector It's easy and simple to wash Cocoon's mattress protector. However, we recommend only washing your sheet when necessary to protect the environment. The mattress protector is 100% Oeko-Tex certified, meaning it does not contain harmful chemical residues that need to be washed away before use. We recommend washing the sheet at 40 degrees, or a maximum of 60 degrees in case of accidents. Choose a wash program for heavy laundry, as the sheet can become heavy when washed, and some washing machines may struggle to spin the sheet. If the water hasn't been spun out during the first spin cycle, we recommend an extra spin. Note that the sheet can shrink by up to 8-10%.
