Why should you buy a pram starter pack with sleep products filled with kapok? Our kapok product series is filled with 100% natural and untreated kapok and is covered with 100% organic certified and untreated cotton. No chemicals, pesticides, or synthetic fibers are used during the cultivation, processing, or production of our kapok sleep products. All our kapok sleep products are hypoallergenic, organic, and temperature-regulating. Learn more about how the natural properties of kapok fiber optimize your baby's sleep environment.

Hypoallergenic
Kapok contains a natural bitter substance, which makes the fiber resistant to bacteria and dust mites

Organic
Our kapok duvets and pillows are filled with untreated kapok, with a cover of 100% organic certified cotton.

Temperature-regulating
Due to the fiber's fantastic breathability, you will achieve a wonderfully temperature-regulated night's sleep

Why should you sleep with kapok?
This question is one of the most frequently asked, and it's also a really good question. Most people can relate to the experience that sleep products with foam, feathers, and down become very warm during the night. Therefore, you need to lift the duvet a little during the night so that the body can cool down just a little. This is because these sleep products have good insulation properties. The good insulation provides a really nice feeling during the cold months when we want to keep warm. It's a really nice feeling - until you've warmed the duvet and mattress up to body temperature. After this, the body needs to get rid of the excess heat and moisture. This is where foam, feathers, and down unfortunately often fall short. For many years, sleep products have been evaluated based on their insulation properties, but we clearly think they should be evaluated based on their regulation properties. The light and hollow structure of kapok fiber means that it regulates the heat around the body and transports the excess moisture and heat away, so you and baby get a wonderfully regulated and dry night's sleep. This is especially important for infants, as their small bodies can have difficulty regulating body temperature themselves. This can lead to small children getting too warm and starting to sweat. Therefore, it is incredibly important that baby's sleep products are good enough to help the child regulate its body heat and moisture. And this is where kapok fiber really makes a difference!
