The many fine pores allow the sponge to absorb large amounts of water making it very useful as a washing sponge. CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- It is important to wash the silk sponge thoroughly with cold or lukewarm water after use so that there is no soap left in the sponge.
- Never twist a silk sponge as the sponge can be damaged by this. Instead, drain the sponge by squeezing it hard.
- If the sponge is used daily, it is recommended to leave the sponge in a saline solution for 24 hours once a week, for optimal maintenance. The saline solution needs just 125 grams of salt per liter of water. Then rinse the sponge with clean water, drain and let dry.
