Lemon Myrtle oil is a refreshing fragrance oil with delightful notes of fresh ripe citrus fruits. The oil is certified organic, ensuring there is no risk of residual chemicals. Our organic Lemon Myrtle oil is a refreshing fragrance oil with delightful notes of fresh citrus fruits. The Lemon Myrtle plant, known as citronmyrte in Danish, is a flowering shrub native to northeastern Australia. In recent years, the Lemon Myrtle shrub has become incredibly popular due to the gastronomic possibilities of the plant's aromatic leaves. Lemon Myrtle contains more citrus aroma than lemons and lemongrass, but without the same bitterness in taste as lemons. The oil, extracted from the leaves, has a strong aroma of ripe citrus fruits, yet is round and balanced, without being sharply acidic.

Pure and certified organic

Lemon Myrtle oil is extracted by steam distillation of the plant's aromatic leaves and is a 100% pure essential oil. You can be assured that the oil is neither diluted nor mixed with other oils. Additionally, the oil is certified organic, meaning the plant has not been sprayed, eliminating the risk of residual chemicals. This also means the oil is 100% natural and free from synthetic or nature-identical additives.

How to get fragrant laundry with Lemon Myrtle oil

We recommend using Lemon Myrtle oil with our soapberries or wool dryer balls. If you wish to use it with our soapberries, you can add 1-2 drops to the cotton bag with soapberries, or mix the oil with water (1:10) and add it to the fabric softener compartment. Alternatively, you can add 1-2 drops to your wool dryer balls before placing them in the dryer. Be careful not to get the oil directly on the skin, as these oils are pure and concentrated, and can cause skin irritation.

Use essential oils for laundry and save yourself and nature from harmful chemicals

There are several benefits to using essential oils as a fragrance oil for laundry. One of the best benefits for both you and the environment is that you don't need to use chemical-laden and environmentally harmful fabric softener. Create your own diffuser with Lemon Myrtle oil

Create a little lovely and relaxing aromatherapy in your bedroom or bathroom with a homemade scent diffuser. All you need to do is find a beautiful glass bottle and purchase some diffuser sticks from your local retailer. Fill the bottle with a little neutral base oil, and add a few drops of your favorite oil to your base oil. The more drops you add, the stronger the scent will be. Place the diffuser sticks in the bottle and stir well. Turn the diffuser sticks the next day to help spread the delightful scent. Enjoy.
