Organic Sweet Orange Oil
The Sweet Orange oil is a warm and uplifting fragrance oil with sweet notes of sun-ripened oranges. The oil is certified organic, and therefore there is no danger of transferring residual chemicals from pesticides. This also means that the oil is 100% natural and without the addition of synthetic or nature-identical additives.

The oil is a 100% pure essential oil, and not diluted or mixed with other oils. Therefore, do not use the oil directly on the skin, as the pure concentrated oil can cause skin irritation and hypersensitivity. The oil can be used as an aroma oil, and as a fragrance oil together with our organic soap berries and/or wool dryer balls.

Organic Sweet Orange Oil - Citrus Sinensis
A round and joy-creating fragrance oil with notes of sweet orange. Our organic Sweet Orange oil is a mood-filled fragrance oil with recognizable and warm notes of fresh oranges. The oil originates from Citrus Sinensis, also known as the sweet orange tree.

Unlike many other citrus scents that can be sharp or acidic, Sweet Orange is known for its deep sweetness and warmth. The scent is often associated with both freshness and hygge, and within aromatherapy, it is known to act relaxingly and mood-lifting. The oil is extracted from the peel of the fruit itself, giving it a very authentic and powerful aroma – exactly like when you peel a fresh orange.

Pure and certified organic
The Sweet Orange oil is extracted by cold pressing the fruit's peel and is a 100% pure essential oil. You can therefore be sure that the oil is neither diluted nor mixed with other oils. Furthermore, the oil is certified organic, meaning the fruits have not been sprayed, and there is therefore no danger of transferring residual chemicals. This also means that the oil is 100% natural and without the addition of synthetic or nature-identical additives.

Fragrant laundry with Sweet Orange oil
We recommend that you use the Sweet Orange oil together with our soap berries or wool balls. If you wish to use it together with our soap berries, you can add 1-2 drops to the cotton bag with soap berries, or mix the oil with water (1:10) and add to the fabric softener tray.

Alternatively, you can add 1-2 drops onto your wool dryer balls before they are put in the tumble dryer. Be careful not to get the oil directly on the skin, as these oils are pure and concentrated oils, and thus can cause skin irritation.

Save yourself from environmentally harmful chemicals
There are several benefits to using essential oils as fragrance oil for laundry. One of the best benefits for both you and the environment is that you do not need to use chemical-filled and environmentally harmful fabric softener. Fabric softener contains environmentally harmful chemicals that benefit neither your clothes, you, nor our nature. When you instead use essential oils to add fragrance to your laundry, you therefore avoid exposing yourself and the environment to harmful chemicals.

All our essential oils are 100% natural and certified organic. Another advantage is that essential oils are very economical in use. Although the bottle with your favorite scent seems small, it lasts a long time. When you use essential oils as fragrance oil, you also have many more options regarding which scents you can choose from. Make your own diffuser with Sweet Orange oil
Create some delicious and relaxing aromatherapy in your bedroom or bathroom with a homemade scent diffuser. All you have to do is find a beautiful glass bottle and buy some reed diffuser sticks at your local retailer. Fill the bottle with some neutral carrier oil, and drip a few drops of your favorite oil into your carrier oil. The more drops you add, the stronger the scent becomes. Place the diffuser sticks into the bottle and stir well. Turn the sticks the next day to make them spread the lovely scent. Enjoy.
