We recommend washing the protector at 40 degrees, or a maximum of 60 degrees in case of accidents. Choose a wash program for heavy laundry, as the protector can become heavy when washed, and some washing machines may struggle to spin it. MAINTENANCE OF YOUR KAPOK MATTRESS

As with all mattresses, it is a good idea to stand the mattress on its side occasionally to air it out. If you have a bed with a solid base, you should be particularly attentive to airing the mattress regularly. These bed bases make it harder to transport moisture away from the mattress. Kapok transports moisture and heat away from the child, but if the moisture cannot escape from the bottom of the mattress, it gets trapped between the mattress and the solid base. In the worst case, this can lead to mold spores forming under the mattress. Unfortunately, this can happen regardless of the mattress used. Therefore, air the mattress once a week, or as needed.

• We recommend that you wash the bedding at 40 degrees to care for the environment and to preserve the bedding's unique weave. If necessary, the bedding can also be washed at 60 degrees.

MAINTENANCE OF YOUR KAPOK MATTRESS

As with all mattresses, it is a good idea to stand the mattress on its side occasionally to air it out. If you have a bed with a solid base, you should be particularly attentive to airing the mattress regularly. These bed bases make it harder to transport moisture away from the mattress.
